Symbian announces 9 new DOCOMO devices

As you may know, Japan is a leader in mobile phone technology and Japanese mobile phones have a wide range of high tech capabilities that allow you to do a lot on the go: email your friends, browse the internet, take high res photos, listen to your favourite music, watch TV using the “One Segment” broadcasting TV technology, use the electronic wallet feature to pay for items without carrying cash or cards, measure how far you’ve walked with pedometers, and so on.

NTT DOCOMO, the leading mobile operator in Japan, recently announced its line up of 19 new handsets, 9 of which are based on Symbian. These 9 Symbian devices include waterproof devices, beautiful and fun designs, up to 12.2 megapixel cameras, and the world’s first separable two-module body!

Here are the Symbian devices that NTT DOCOMO announced:

4 Devices Manufactured by Fujitsu

  • docomo PRIME series F-01B: High-spec waterproof phone with 12.2-megapixel camera – available now.
  • docomo STYLE series F-02B: Jewellery-quality waterproof phone with a tiny, snap-on perfume holder – available now.
  • docomo SMART series F-03B: Slim, waterproof phone with luxurious design and 12.2-megapixel camera – available soon.
  • docomo PRIME series F-04B: High-spec phone with 12.2-megapixel camera and the world’s first separable two-module body – available March to April 2010.
