Hi, I’m Boaz Zilberman co-founder and Chief Architect at fring.com.

fring provides social communications services to its community members. The value of the services – real-time and off-line messaging, telephony to PSTN and VoIP destinations, file transfer and presence information; largely depend on the size and spread of a fringster’s buddy list.

The more fring buddies one has in the buddy list, higher the chance we will enjoy a long and happy relationship.

To build up the fring network as fast as possible, and easily convert more and more people to actual users, we have decided to provide fring as a free application and monetize the services indirectly.

In the session I will host during the upcoming SEE event, I will share with you some of the ways we use to monetize the service and make a living.

Among the topics I will discuss are:

• Banners advertisements in mobile applications
• Product sponsorship
• Partnerships of added-value services
• Provisioning of  3^rd-party API
• Collaborating for marketing and distribution benefits
